Friday 13th

Interesting way to kick start the morning. Our car battery went dead. Had to call tow truck to tow the car to Tan Cheong. Luckily the car was still in the carpark. *hahahaha*

It is finally over..

It has been almost a month since the renovation 1st started. Finally its over. We can finally breathe. *hehehe* The process has kept us busy. Busy with what? Of cos busy with shopping *hahaha* and checking the status of the house. Just a sneak preview of the before and after.

Goodness of flashcards

Reading before bedtime has become our nightly routine for Jon since his birth. We will normally read some books or flashcards or play with him. He will normally flipped to some particular pages or picked some of his few fav books for us to read to him. So tonight was no exceptional. Just that the bed was filled with flashcards thrown all over and Jon was picking and pointing. So we just asked him "Where is the DUCK?" Guess what... he looked around and picked up the Duck flashcard! Wow.. we were surprised! So we thought it just pure luck. So we try again, this time abit harder.. "Where is ELEPHANT?" He looked around again and picked Elephant!! Kenneth & my eyes nearly popped. So I mixed the cards up again and asked him to find again.. "Where is Duck?" Yeap.. he got it correct again. So reading to kids when young really really works.
