There are so many prams and strollers around but which is the best? No right or wrong. Is actually the user preferences. Some likes light weight and can bring up the bus. Some with cars will prefer more heavy duty. Hence we have 2 strollers at home now.

New Playground

A new playground is finally completed at my mum's place. Instead of a plain patch of grass, town council replaced it with a big playground and exercise corner. Kids love it! Jon and Annie will go to the playground every evening to play.

Yes.. I can!

Look mummy.. I can stand! At 7months old, Annie is able to stand on her own. Really smart girl. She will grab whatever she can find and stand up. And she seems to be really happy and proud of her achivements. At the same, she has perfect her leopard crawl now. She can roams the house by herself.

Recipe :: Fresh Silver Fish Powder

Fish is a good source of DHA. When I saw wet market selling the fresh silver fish, I was very excited. Time to make fresh silver fish powder for Annie. Making this is not difficult but is alot of work. You need to wash clean the fish and dry fry it. Because it is fresh, it will have alot of water from the fish. You need to cook it using non stick pan because we cannot use oil as it is meant for babies. From stage 1-2, takes around 5 mins, stage 2-3, takes around 20mins for the water to be evaporated, stage 3-4, takes another 20mins for the fish to be crispy and golden brown. Once it is ready, you can grind the fish into powder. The fish powder can be stored in the fridge for 3months by which should be consumed by the baby. It can be added directly into the cereal or porridge. Happy cooking!

Birdpark here we come!!

Kenneth managed to get the corporate membercard to Birdpark. If you have kids.. you will know that visit to Zoo or Birdpark is never too much. But with the corporate membercard means it is FREE. With 2 kids, expenses have went up, hence this is really very good for us. Jon is as usual... super duper happy when we told him we are going to the Birdpark. Compared to Zoo, Birdpark is a smaller scale but fun wise is pretty much the same. We enjoyed ourselves pretty much as well.

Vist to the Animal Farm

It has been a while since we last visit to any farms besides Zoo or Birdpark. Went to Animal Resort at Jalan Kayu. It is actually quite small. 1 horse, 1 goat, ducks, goose, chickens, rabbits... but is good enough for Jon. He get to feed the horse with hay and goat with carrots and ducks with seeds. Overall is a good trip and best that is FREE!

Annie 1st swimming lesson

We brought Annie for a dip while Jon is having his swimming lesson. She simply loves the water and refused to come out after 10minutes.
