My Pregnancy Journey

I only managed to breast feed Jon for 2 weeks during his time. I was too inexperienced and there were a few factors too. He was not able to latch on. When he was hungry, his cries can bring down the whole place and not forgetting that every breast pumping session would take 1hour and only expressed 20ml of milk which was super miserable. In the end, I gave up.

But I am more determined this round. I have bought Medela PIS to motivate me. And due to the cost of the pump, I must not give up so easily. LOL. And super thanks to my sister (who recently went to Bangkok) helped to buy me 10 packs of storage bags for breastmilk. I am fully prepared for being a cow. Hopefully this round will be more successful.

We finally signed up for Cord Blood Banking and received the following package to be taken to the hospital on the day of delivery. There are news that there will be price adjustment this coming Aug. So for those who are still deciding, please decide soon.

I can dance too

Jon likes to surprise us with his little actions. Just the other day, he was dancing happily to Mickey Hotdog Dance and then suddenly he was dancing Fancy Dance, a dance which Donald teaches Goofy. And the most funny part was he doing his little performance at NTUC Finest. Enjoy the dance... and see how he shake his booty.

Jon likes to pull the Sheng Siong basket with wheels. It makes him feel like an adult. So I call him the trolley manager. Even when we go to NTUC, he also likes to sit inside and see what we put into the trolley. But at SS, he can control the wheels. So I let him pull the basket all over the place and when is time for payment, he will help me pull to the cashier.

Goodbye railway

Everybody wants to be part of the history before the closure of the railway track, we are no difference too. Especially Jon is so crazy over trains now. We went to Railway Mall and had a short walk. I would say it is not an easy task. The path is really very very bumpy.

Week 20:
I am still vomiting. *sigh*

Week 21:
I will normally ask Kenneth to feel baby when she moves. But the moment his hand touches my tummy, she stops. And when his hand is off, she moves again. Seems that she is a shy girl.

Week 23:
Had detailed scan and the results was good.
Gyn finally changed my 2 weeks appointment to 4 weeks.
Baby is moving alot throughout the day and night.
We decided to opt for cordlife.

Jon and his hat

After watching some cartoon from Disney Playhouse, Jon suddenly wants to wear his hat. He calls himself "Captain Jonathan or sometimes Captain Hook". So I guess you already know which cartoon is that. He even wears it when he is playing his train.

Jon's Excuses

As Jon is approaching 4yrs old, his thinking has also grow. He knows how to find excuse to avoid the things he does not like.

Examples :

During meal time :
Helper : Eat your rice
Jon : I want to sleep (pretend to be very tired and put his head down)

During punishment time:
Me : Go to your naughty corner
Jon : I want to sleep (proceed to walk to the bed and lay down)
