Aloha to our new place...

We are now the proud owner of our new place at Bishan St 13.

Why did we make Bishan our new home?

• Near to my parents' place (within 1-2km)
• Location - It is just 1 bus stop away from Bishan MRT
• Space - It is 121sqm
• There is a primary school just in front of the block. If we decide to enroll Jon in that school, it will save some hassle on transportations, etc
• Its Kenneth's dream to stay in a point block unit
• Its unblocked and its at level 9

So our next few weekends will be busy ensuring that renovation is smooth and of cos shopping for furnitures and electrical appliances... so aloha window shopping. hehehehe

Copycat Jon

It is very true that children will follow what the adults are doing... Jon is copying some of the things we do nowadays.

• Whenever a car passesby, we will tell him its a car, so now...When he sees a car, he will say out loud --> CAR
  
• Same goes for the cat, so when he sees a cat, he will say Cat or Meow but he also misunderstand that Waggy ==> Cat, so when he always call him Cat or Meow
  
• Sometimes when we want to move Waggy from the mattress thats on the floor, we will push him away and say Go away.. so copycat Jon also follow. when he wants to push Waggy away and he will push Waggy and say GO

Visit to Far East Flora

I am not a very Chinese New Year supporter. But I would like Jonathan to grow up in the correct culture, hence I decided to go to the flowers market at Far East Flora to view all the festive flowers, e.g, Kumquat aka mandarian orange plants, Pussy willow. We went there 1 week before CNY to avoid the crowds. We brought Jon to the big fridge to view all the fresh flowers (tulips, roses etc). Jon was pretty excited, trying to hold the petals. When he saw the kumquats, he tried to pick it. *hehehe*

He turns 16 months old.........

As Jon turns 16 months old, he is beginning to understand more things. Below are the his growth.

His official few words :

• Car Car ==>Bus

• Bird ==> Bird
• Cat ==> Cat
• Dog ==> Dog
• Fish ==> Fish
• Yee ==> Yee Yee aka my sister

• Pointing to the cup ==> I' m thirsty
• Pointing to the food ==> I wanna eat
• Pointing to the TV remote ==> This channel is boring, pass me the remote or change channel please.
• Pat Pat on you ==> Doting aka sayang sayang
• Picking up Waggy's toys ==> Playing fetch with Waggy
• Hands up ==> I wanna be carried

His Official understanding of words :

• Sing song ==> He will start singing
• Bye Bye ==> He will start to wave bye bye
• Pat Pat Pat.. Blast Off ==> He will pat on his lap and wave his hands up (just like little einsteins)
• No ==> He will start to wail
• Good Boy ==> He knows he is being praise for doing something right and will repeat the actions again
• Naughty Boy ==> He will start to wail

Another Visit to KKH Accident n Emergency

Jon is sick again. What happened was he felt sick after he had his MMR n Chicken Pox Jab 6 days later. Fever was like yo-yo. Up and down.. up n down. But we got panic when his fever reached 40.3c. We rushed down to KKH A&E again and the procedures repeated just like the previous visit. We were asked to monitor his fever for the next 3 days. Fever has finally went down after 5 days but his body is covered with red dots like rash. Really very heartbreak to see him so ill. And I have decided to switch his milk from Promil to Prediasure as he is not drinking or eating well. Hope he can recover soon.
