It has been a week since Jon started school. We are very proud of his updates. He is able to walk into the classroom himself after 3rd day. But he will cry when going home if he has to carry his own school bag. But he is alright when he does not have to carry the bag. Hence we suspect that is the main reason.
** His 1st art piece ** We received a communication booklet from the school for any updates or activities in school. And there is a note from the Principal to us regarding Jonathan.
Message from Prinical :
Dear Parents,
Jonathan is slowly adjusting to school routines. During storytelling times, he is able to sit still and pay attention and sometimes even attempt to name animals or things in the story.
Do continue to let him hold onto his favourite toy as he comes in as he seems to cry lesser when he is holding onto something familiar. Also when I open the door for dismissal, Jonathan seems to start to cry and wants to rush to go out. Do ensure that you/maid is punctual in fetching him.
I have attachmed a handwashing guide for you to go through with him so that he practices good hygiene in school.
Do take note of the timing for the CNY celebrations and do join us for the festivities. Also let me know if you like me to assist Jonathan in any way and if you have other feedback to share.
