Ang Baos from POSB

I really dread to go to the bank with CNY round the corner. It is not surprise when I saw the super duper long queue at POSB. In my heart, I thought those people queuing to change new notes for CNY. But actually it is not. There is another separate queue for it and there is nobody queuing. The long queue is for normal transaction. I had to wait for 45mins before it was my turn. In return, I got 2 new packs of Ang Baos.

In the mood for Baking

Another 3 more weeks will be CNY. Feeling e mood, I decided to bake some honey corn flakes. Manage to bake 4 boxes out of a box of cornflakes.

Marina Barrage

It has been awhile since we last went to Marina Barrage. Not much changes except for more human traffic. It has become a place for kite flying and pinic. The kites have captured Jon's attention for awhile. He kept looking in the sky and pointing at them.

先苦后甜

As Jon grows older, his appetite also increases. Milk is no longer his main course, it has been more of supplement. Normally we will give him 2 pieces of bread for breakfast, rice and chicken for lunch and dinner. We are trying to let him eat on his own, hence meal times has become quite messy. We will put his food in front of him and let him try. He is able to eat on his own without any help and he has this particular habit. Some keeps the best for last. Well for Jon, he eats the best first and worse for last. He likes to slowly eat the choc part first before eating the rest of the bread. For lunch and dinner, he will eat the meat first leaving the rice the last option. So what happens to 先苦后甜??

2009.... 2010

Time really flies, year 2009 has passed so quickly. What have we accomplished for 2009? Hmm... let me think. Not much major events happened :

• Bought a resale HDB near my parents' place
• Turning my dream kitchen into a reality (Yippee!!)
  
• Started cooking and baking again
• I am a Certified Lotus Professional (woohoo!!)
  
• Jon's speech has improved after he turned 2yrs old
  
• Jon has started his playgroup
• Jon had a nasty cut on his forehead :(
  
• Become more aware in Finances
  
• Brother finally got married (another woohoo!!)
  

As usual, Christmas day is reserved for family. We had Christmas lunch and had steamboat with my Ils on New year at our place. After 2 busy weekends, we finally have sometimes to laze around.
